Photo Editing with Adobe Lightroom Classic Learn to organize, develop, edit, and share your photos using Adobe Lightroom Classic. Start with the fundamentals and finish with a comprehensive workflow to take photos from RAW to WOW every time! Topics include interface basics, importing photos, cropping, developing RAWs, adjusting exposure, recovering highlights, color balance, sharpening, masking, AI, retouching portraits, enhancing landscapes and exporting for printing, emailing, and social media. To get the most out of this course, use photos from a camera that can shoot in RAW format. Requirements: Students must bring their own fully charged laptop (no tablets or smart phones) with Adobe Lightroom Classic pre-installed. Lightroom Classic is included with the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan, which costs $9.99/mo and includes Adobe Photoshop. Introduction to iPhone Photography Learn a few simple guidelines for taking better pictures with your iPhone and how to improve the ones you already have. Explore how to edit your photos effectively with the Photos app and also the free app Snapseed. Become familiar with how to share photos using Airdrop, email, and text, how to post to Facebook and Instagram, and how to store photos in iCloud. Students must bring their own iPhone and are welcome to also bring an iPad or MacBook.
JOAN PACHNER is an avid photographer who has mastered the iPhone's camera and editing app, building on skills initially developed using Photoshop. ISABELLE DERVAUX is a family photo curator and manager whose mission is to teach iPhone users how to organize their photos and reduce visual clutter by selecting the most meaningful photos and shaping them into narratives that uniquely tell their family’s story. Prior to her present focus on photography, Dervaux had a long and successful career as an artist, teaching Illustration and visual storytelling at CCA in San Francisco and Parsons School of Design at the New School in New York. She is a certified member of The Photos Managers and an active member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals.
