Introduction
The Product Manual catalogs the full range of Bateel food products, packaging, ribbons and other accessories. Intended as a guide for boutique managers and staff, this manual includes product names, descriptions and product codes. As such, it facilitates the process of identifying and ordering items from the warehouse. Bateel products and packaging offer a wide variety of choices for clients. Managers and sales staff are encouraged to learn details about Bateel products and packaging, i.e., name, description, price, unique qualities or other information a customer may find interesting. This manual is updated regularly. Any new information, revisions or additions to the existing Bateel product range should be submitted to Bateel Design with a notice to update the Product Manual content. (See Request to Update Manual Content) Whenever Bateel Management publishes new information contained in this manual, users (shops and franchises) will receive a notice of manual content update accompanied by any new or revised Product Manual pages. ALLERGENS
These seeds can often be found in bread (sprinkled on hamburger buns for example), breadsticks, houmous, sesame oil and tahini. They are sometimes toasted and used in salads.

Not to be mistaken with peanuts (which are actually a legume and grow underground), this ingredient refers to nuts which grow on trees, like cashew nuts, almonds and hazelnuts. You can find nuts in breads, biscuits, crackers, desserts, nut powders, ice cream, marzipan (almond paste), nut oils and sauces. Wheat (such as spelt and Khorasan wheat/Kamut), rye, barley and oats is often found in foods containing flour, such as some types of baking powder, batter, breadcrumbs, bread, cakes, couscous, pastry, sauces, and condiments thickened with flour. Eggs are often found in cakes, mayonnaise, mousses, pasta, quiche, sauces and pastries or foods brushed or glazed with egg.
Often found in bean curd, edamame beans, miso paste, textured soya protein, soya flour or tofu, soya is a staple ingredient in oriental food. It can also be found in desserts, ice cream, meat products, sauces and vegetarian products. Liquid mustard, mustard powder and mustard seeds fall into this category. This ingredient can also be found in breads, curries, marinades, meat products, salad dressings, sauces and soups. This is an ingredient often used in dried fruit such as raisins, dried apricots and prunes. You might also find it in meat products, soft drinks, vegetables as well as in wine and beer. If you have asthma, you have a higher risk of developing a reaction to sulphur dioxide
