Venues & Infrastructure Director

Hybrid working (2-3 days per week from the London office)
Project Delivery
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our senior leadership team at a very exciting point in the company’s growth. You will be a highly motivated, proactive, driven and dynamic individual with the ability to lead high performing teams, drive new business and nurture new and existing client relationships. • Apply project development expertise across Trivandi’s growing portfolio of venues & infrastructure projects, ensuring that each project is delivered to the highest standard • Take the lead on defining and shaping projects, setting out a clear pathway to successful delivery • Represent client interests to increase investment returns and minimise project financial risk, by adopting an integrated development approach across business planning, commercial operations, design & construction • Work closely with Design and Programme/Project Management colleagues and other specialists to ensure a seamless delivery across each project • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and project partners
Leadership
• Provide leadership across the Venues & Infrastructure and project teams, ensuring team members have clear objectives and are nurtured and supported to perform to the highest level. • Build and grow the Venues & Infrastructure team in line with the Business Plan. • Build strong collaborative working relationships with colleagues in other parts of the business. • Be an active member of the Trivandi Management Team, contributing to the development of the business.
Personal Skills and Experience
• Qualified to at least degree level in a relevant subject. • Substantial post-qualification experience at a senior leadership level. • Experience of leading complex real estate development projects. • Ability to open up new opportunities and secure new business. • Experience within the sports/venues sector, with a ready-made network of industry contacts. • Acutely commercially aware, with experience of making sound business decisions and negotiating contracts.
Business Development
• Seek out and convert new business opportunities by building and leveraging your personal network. • Maintain, develop and grow relationships with our existing clients & partners with the aim of maximising long term business opportunities. • Play an active part in the achievement of Trivandi’s business plan, leading on the business development strategy for venues and infrastructure. • Whilst focusing on the venues and infrastructure business unit, be alive to potential opportunities for other aspects of the business (eg events), making connections and sharing contacts.
You must be able to travel both within the UK and oversees as required.
