2025 - 2027 Seeds Collection Syngenta Flowers Wholesale
Delta Pro Strong, All Season Long.
Dear valued customers,
Flowers continue to be an important factor in the well-being of consumers. As a gift item or to use as decoration in the garden, terraces or balconies. But also to educate children and show them the value of plants and the importance for the environment. Syngenta Flowers is continuously exploring the opportunities to enlarge and improve the assortment available for growers and consumers. In our breeding we focus more and more on a decrease in chemical use during the culture. We breed for natural compactness and more build-in disease tolerances in our newest products. We also look at the transition from the use of peat in the soil to alternative components. Plants will react differently on a different soil type. By testing our genetics in different soil types, and with different growing techniques, we can supply you with new varieties or new growing methods that can help you to decrease the use of chemicals. In this new catalogue you will find several examples of new varieties or series that are supporting the aim to reduce chemicals. • Our most important new introduction is the Viola cornuta Penny Pro. This series is almost day length neutral, which means it will flower very uniform both in Autumn and in Spring. Plants are branching strongly and the flower stems are non-stretching, which gives a clear reduction in the need for PGR’s. And we are able to increase
the germination standard to 90%! • In the Cora XDR (eXtreme Disease Resistance) we add now the Red Glow. A true Red color that has a similar resistance against many strains of Phytophtora as the other colors in the series. • The Sunflower Sunfinity Yellow Dark Center gets now a sister with the Yellow red Bicolor. This series is now available to all customers in Europe and we have adjusted the seed price downwards to make this item also interesting for the smaller growers. It is a great consumer plant, producing more than 100 flowers per plant and lasting at least 3 months in the garden. It creates a complete new image for the Sunflower as a garden plant, but also to be used as a cut flower. • In the perennial range you find also interesting new items in species like Lavandula and Coreopsis. With this catalogue and the support from our marketing team and our technical team, we are sure that we can continue to be a reliable and innovative partner of all our customers.
We wish you a very successful growing season!
