Manganese Removal

CapDI MANGANESE REMOVAL Currently, Toronto, Canada ground water contains manganese levels in the 150 - 200 parts per billion (ppb) range. New governmental regulations will enforce that waste water going into municipal water treatment plants cannot have manganese present above 50 ppb. Consequently, ground water removed from construction sites during de-watering for foundation construction must be treated to reduce the manganese levels to below 50 ppb before the water can be sent to municipal sanitary or storm drains. This document represents the technical data collected while CapDI was tested for the purpose of manganese removal. ©
