Malaysia being relocated because the Governor wants to build hotels on it, and some agents break protocol and help the protesters. In The Fall James is on an MI5 mission when everything goes wrong and he has to escape from Russia, while his sister is going on her first solo mission trying to uncover a human trafficking operation. The Killing is about a small-time crook. When he starts spending big bucks the police want to know where it is coming from, and that is where James comes in. However the plot he starts to unravel isn’t what anyone expected and there is only one boy who might be able to help. The only problem is that the boy fell off a building thirteen months before. There are many other issues raised in the series. I really enjoyed reading each book, as I am sure many of my classmates did too, because they are always jam-packed with action and thought-provoking themes! Ben Knowles, 7C Debating Society If you are free Friday lunchtimes, why not give Debating Society in LS02 a try? Every couple of weeks we hold a debate on an interesting topic. Then we examine our debate to improve it, we refine it with extra information and make it better. Sometimes we play a game called ‘the balloon debate’ where a group of people are in ‘the balloon’ and it is loosing height. Every person has to give a convincing debate to try to persuade people to let them stay in the balloon. At the end of each round, the contestants vote who to chuck out.
