The focus of international racing will be on County Kildare on the last weekend in June 2025 as the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby headlines the biggest Classic weekend of the year in Ireland. In response to vendor and buyer demand for a new breeze up sale in Ireland, Goffs is delighted to launch the Classic Breeze Up as a premium outlet for quality, later maturing two-year-olds. Vendors will benefit from the large number of international buyers in town for racing as well as the world class sales complex at Goffs and superb breezing surface at Naas Racecourse. In a break from the norm, Goffs Classic Breezers will work on Naas racecourse five days in advance of the sale so mirroring the hugely successful US 2YO sales and giving potential purchasers ample time to review, discuss and inspect those classy types that catch their eye. Goffs purchaser attraction team will work hand in hand with ITM to ensure the broadest audience possible for your Classic breezers. This will include initiatives that feature travel and accommodation at the Club Hotel at Goffs for overseas buyers, and hospitality events at the Breeze, Sale and the Curragh, so making it a unique experience for our international guests. We are very proud to host the newest Breeze Up and one with a difference. Sunday 22nd June Practice Breeze at Naas Racecourse Start time: 3pm
Horses will be stabled at Goffs and make the short trip to Naas Racecourse where they will breeze on one of Ireland’s finest tracks which has benefited from major investment in recent years. Goffs and Irish Thoroughbred Marketing will host buyers for a “Breakfast at the Breeze” courtesy of our superb caterers Lily & Wild. By breezing well in advance, buyers will have ample time to review footage, discuss plans with buyers and inspect their selections.
Monday 23rd June Breeze-Up at Naas Racecourse Start time: 10am
Saturday 28th June Afternoon racing at the Curragh featuring the G1 Pretty Polly Stales Reception at Goffs: 6pm Sale at Goffs: 6:30pm
