Vehicle Driving

9. Vehicles in adjacent lanes

Warning

The distance to the vehicle in front and the vehicle conditions in the adjacent lanes shown on the central control display may differ from the actual conditions. You must maintain real - time observation of the vehicle and the actual road conditions, reasonably adjust the cruising speed and following time and distance intervals, take over control of the vehicle when necessary, ensure that the vehicle can stop safely at any time, and take full responsibility for maintaining safe driving. Due to interference from light (such as reflection from the central control display screen, the driver wearing sunglasses) and environmental sounds (such as the volume of the in - vehicle entertainment system being too loud), the warning message issued by the central control display screen is not easy to detect. The driver needs to always pay attention to the vehicle's driving status and road conditions, and take over control of the vehicle in a timely manner. Do take countermeasures before the warning message is issued.

CAUTION

When IACC is working and in the following control mode, the vehicle in front is displayed in white.

Instructions

IACC operating speed range is 0 - 130km / h.

• Single lane intelligent assisted driving

- IACC prioritizes steering assistance control based on the clear lane lines on both sides of the lane. At this time, IACC is in lane line control mode. The IACC icon on the central control screen is displayed in green, lane lines in blue, and the front vehicle (if recognized) in white.

• Traffic jam assistance

- When the vehicle speed is lower than 60 km/h, if the lane line is not recognized, the vehicle can also follow the recognized target vehicle in front. At this time, IACC is in the following control mode, and the IACC icon on the central display will be displayed in green and the front vehicle is displayed in white.

Warning

Traffic congestion assistance is only applicable when vehicles are queued in sequence. Don’t use IACC on roads entering and exiting toll stations, chaotic traffic, random jams, and small turning radius. When the vehicle in front turns too quickly, IACC cannot assist the vehicle to follow the direction of the vehicle in front. The system may lock onto a new target vehicle or exit to the ACC activation state and accelerate at the set cruising speed. The driver needs to pay attention to the system status at all times and turn off IACC and take over control of the vehicle when necessary. In congested conditions, it is recommended that drivers set an appropriate following time and distance interval to prevent accidents caused by following the vehicle too closely and untimely
