Key Classification
This vehicle supports two types of keys:
• Mechanical key: When other keys fail, you can use the mechanical key to open the door and enter the vehicle. • Smart remote control key: It can unlock, lock and locate the whole vehicle, as well as opening and closing the back door.
Mechanical key
Methods of unlocking and locking the door using a mechanical key are as follows:
• Unlocking: Press the front end of the driver's side outer handle, pull the outer handle out completely, and insert the mechanical key into the lock cylinder. Turn the key counterclockwise and release the handle, and then pull the handle to unlock the door. • Locking: Pull out the outer handle, insert the mechanical key into the lock cylinder, and turn the key clockwise to lock the door.
The number of the mechanical key is printed on the barcode number plate of the key. Please keep the number plate properly. If the lock plate of the mechanical key is accidentally lost, please order it at a Changan Automobile authorized dealer according to the key number on the number plate.
CAUTION
The mechanical key must be kept outside the vehicle for emergency use.
