Maintenance and Self - service
2. Measure the tire pressure with a tire pressure gauge. If the tire is not inflated to the recommended pressure when cold, adjust it. 3. Check the tire pressure. If it is over - inflated, press the valve core inside the tire valve to reduce the pressure. 4. After passing the inspection, install the valve cover on the valve stem to prevent dust and moisture from entering and causing tire leakage.
Tire Repositioning
To ensure that the front and rear wheels of the vehicle wear evenly and have a longer service time, it is recommended to reposition tires every 10,000 km after first maintenance. Please refer to the diagram for the repositioning rules. If abnormal wear is found, it should be repositioned as early as possible.
After repositioning tires, ensure that the front and rear tire pressures and wheel nut tightening force meet the specified values.
Warning
If tires are not repositioned in time, uneven wear will occur between tires.
TIRE REPLACEMENT
The original tires on this vehicle are selected to maximize vehicle performance, while providing you with the best combination of handling, ride comfort and service life.
It is recommended to replace the original tires at a Changan Automobile authorized dealer.
Replacing radial tires with different sizes, load ranges, rated speeds, and maximum cold tire pressures, or mixing radial tires with bias - ply tires, will reduce the vehicle's braking performance, driving force, and steering precision. It is best to replace all four tires at the same time. If this is not possible or necessary, replace two front or rear tires in pairs. Replacing just one tire can seriously affect the handling of your vehicle. ABS (Anti - lock Braking System) works by comparing the rotational speed of wheels. Therefore, when replacing tires, you must use tires that are the same size as the original tires and wheels. The size and structure of tires will affect wheel speed and may cause uncoordinated operation of the system.
