4. Remove the in - vehicle tools. To begin, unzip the spare tire bag, and take out the socket wrench, jack, and jack handle from the tool kit.
5. Loosen the nuts. Use the socket wrench to loosen the five wheel nuts gradually (about one full turn each).
6. Set the jack in place. Position the jack below the support point, adjusting its location and height to ensure it remains stable in the lifted position.
7. Lift the vehicle. Combine the jack, jack handle, and wheel wrench as shown in the illustration above, and turn the jack clockwise to raise the tire slightly off the ground.
