Warning Messages of the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

CAUTION

The tire pressure of the vehicle is calibrated in a warm environment. The tire pressure fault indicator may light up when entering a cold environment, and vice versa. It is caused by pressure changes caused by temperature changes; it isn’t a system failure. When driving in areas with different temperatures, the four wheels' tire pressures should be checked and calibrated in a timely manner, and the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) should be reset. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) can only be reset after calibrating the four tires according to the cold standard tire pressure. After resetting, the system can be learned successfully during vehicle use.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) needs to be reset in the following situations:

1. Adjust the tire pressure of one or more tires;

2. Removal or replacement of any tire/wheel;

3. After one year or 10,000 km, tires need to be inflated and relearned (recommended).

Replacing with wheels other than those specified by Changan Automobile may affect the proper operation of the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Wheels

Change Wheels

If a wheel is bent, cracked, or severely corroded, the tire may separate from the vehicle and you should replace the wheel promptly.

Notes for Aluminum Wheels

• Be sure to use nuts designed specifically for this kind of wheels.

• After disassembling or replacing wheels, check and confirm that wheel nuts are still tight after driving 1,600 km.
