• The vehicle gear is in P gear;
• Depress the brake pedal.
After the conditions for enabling the tow mode are met, click the "Tow Mode" button and a prompt box will pop up, whose diagram is as follows:
After clicking the Confirm button in the pop - up box, the vehicle will enter the tow mode.
CAUTION
• When the tow mode is turned on, the vehicle gear will change from P to N and Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) will be released. To prevent the vehicle from sliding down a slope, please turn on tow mode on a flat surface without steep slopes. • In the tow mode, when the vehicle speed exceeds 8km/h, the vehicle will exit the tow mode, sound the horn and resume Electronic Parking Brake (EPB). Please note to control the tow speed.
Notes on Towing Vehicles
Towing is used only for the process of towing a vehicle onto a flatbed tow.
When the vehicle is powered off, the power - assist system cannot work and greater force is required for braking and steering the vehicle. Lift the vehicle using the towing points, body and chassis components as load points, otherwise damage may occur. Avoid sudden starts or erratic driving, which can put excessive stress on towing hook, tow cable or chain, causing towing hook, tow cable or chain to break, resulting in vehicle damage and personal injury.
If you can't move a vehicle that is out of control, don't force the trailer to continue.
Please move in a straight line when towing.
