Other Considerations

Notes on towing a vehicle with four wheels on the ground:

• Tow is only allowed from the front of the vehicle, towing is only used to tow the vehicle onto a platform trailer, and wheels, axles, drive train, steering wheel and brakes must be in good condition. • The towing vehicle shall not be lighter than the towed vehicle; otherwise the vehicle may be out of control.

• Check to see if the towing hook is broken or damaged.

• The towing cable or chain is fastened to the towing hook.

• Do not jerk the towing hook. Apply steady and even force.

• Start the towed vehicle, shift the gear to N and release the parking brake.

• The towing strap should be less than 5 meters (16 feet) in length and be fastened with a highly visible strap for easy identification.

• Drive carefully to prevent the sling from loosening during towing.

• The drivers of two vehicles shall exchange information frequently.

• If you drive on a long downhill, the brake may overheat, which may reduce the braking performance. You should often stop to cool the brake. • If trailer is required in case of brake failure, flatbed truck must be used for transportation. • The transport mode is only used to winch the vehicle onto a flatbed tow or to move the vehicle out of a parking space. When in transport mode, the tire can rotate slowly (at a speed not exceeding 5km/h) and the moving distance should not be too long (less than 10m). Exceeding the above limits will result in severe vehicle damage and overheating, both of which are not covered by warranty.
