JUMP START
If the vehicle cannot be started normally due to battery depletion, follow the steps below to perform jump start: 1. Unlock the vehicle door with the mechanical key, and after the back door is emergency opened, remove the trim cover on the right side of the trunk (the decorative trim on the left side of the trunk is a speaker cover and cannot be removed). 2. Place the power supply in the trunk of the vehicle, check all battery terminals, remove any excessive corrosion, and make sure all hole covers are tightened and level. 3. First connect the red positive (+) cable from the power supply to the positive (+) terminal of the discharged battery. Then, connect the black negative ( - ) cable from the power supply to the negative ( - ) terminal of the discharged battery.
4. Power up the vehicle that is short of power.
5. Remove the jump - start cables in the reverse order of how they are connected. Keep cables away from metal parts of any vehicle when remove the cables.
Warning
The jump - start cable must be a special automotive jump - start cable with a cable specification of ≥25 square millimeters. If the battery is frequently running low and the cause is unknown, please contact a Changan Automobile authorized dealer for inspection and repair.
Jacking and Lifting
Follow the steps below to raise the vehicle.
1. Park the vehicle in the center of the lifter.
2. Place the lifting arm pad under the designated vehicle lifting area, which is the lower stop area of the body sheet metal threshold corresponding to the lifting gap and marking of the lower body protective trim. The lifting gap and marking of the lower body protective trim are shown in the picture. Do not place the lifting arm pad under the battery.
