DANGER
The airbag is specially configured for this vehicle model. It can’t be replaced by other products; otherwise, system failure will be caused. After airbag deployment or 10 years upon operation of the vehicle, the airbag system must be replaced to ensure normal function of the system. It is prohibited to disassemble, modify or damage airbag and related components without permission. These operations may cause the airbag system to not work properly and provide the expected protection for the driver and passengers. It may also fail or be accidentally activated in the event of an accident, causing serious casualties! When the airbag system fails, please contact the authorized dealer for inspection and repair. Do not perform inspection and repair without permission to avoid accidental injury!
DANGER
Airbag icon is set at every place where the airbag is installed. Don’t attach or place any object in such area.
No person, pet or other article is allowed between the occupant and the airbag.
Don’t smoke while driving (for risk of burning in case of airbag deployment).
Children of or under age 12 shall sit on seats in the second row, with child restraint systems.
Airbag Operation
Airbag only work (and can be deployed if necessary) when the vehicle is unlocked and powered on.
Airbag indicator must be in normal condition.
No positive connection exists between airbag deployment and vehicle body damage extent, and vehicle collision is not the precondition for airbag deployment. That is, airbag will not be deployed in all collision situations. It is deployed based on a series of factors, which are not limited to: vehicle speed at the time of impact, collision angle, and the overall deceleration of the vehicle in the collision. If the vehicle collides with deformable or movable objects (such as guard bar and tree) that can absorb impact force, the deployment speed of airbag is bigger than that when the vehicle collides with a solid and non - deformable object. If the driver applies emergency braking at the time of collision, the impact strength at the moment of collision may be less than the standard activating strength of the airbag, so the airbag may not deploy. In case of continuous vehicle collision, the airbag will only deploy at the first time when the deployment conditions are met. When a vehicle is involved in a series of collisions, in a less serious accident ( ① ) the airbag may not deploy because the collision is less severe or not strong enough. However, in a subsequent strong collision ( ② ), the airbag may operate because the vehicle collision intensity has reached the airbag deployment standard.
