PROMOTE THE FACULTY GLOBALLY AND POSITION OURSELVES AS A LEADING INTERNATIONAL DESTINATION FOR HEALTHCARE, PSYCHOLOGICAL AND BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH. The aim of this objective is to attract staff, students, collaborators and investment from across the globe to strengthen the global reputation of the Faculty as a destination for world-leading research and innovation.

ENSURE THAT WE ADHERE TO UK POLICIES AND REGULATIONS AROUND RESEARCH INVOLVING PATIENTS AND PARTICIPANTS. WE WILL STRIVE TOWARDS 100% COMPLIANCE WITH ONLINE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH ETHICS AND GOVERNANCE. The aim of this objective is to ensure that research integrity is prioritised within the Faculty to protect the University from reputational risk.

1. Use our research outputs, and other dissemination opportunities (e.g. conference presentations) to promote the research performed at Swansea internationally, including dedicated funding to attend leading international conferences. 2. Recruit staff internationally and utilise our international research students and staff to act as ambassadors for Swansea in their home countries. 3. Target the QS rankings to drive up the position of both the Faculty and Swansea University on the global scale. We will measure success in our global reputation through metrics related to international postgraduate research students, international research partners and QS rankings.

1. Insist that the highest standards of research ethics are maintained by our staff and students to protect the institution from reputational risks. 2. Train our staff and PGR students in research ethics, integrity and governance issues. 3. Empower our Faculty Research Ethics Integrity and Governance (REIG) committee to maintain standards, report breaches and diligently ensure compliance.

We will measure the success of our ethics and governance strategy by monitoring training compliance rates and documenting numbers and severity of any breaches raised through the Faculty REIG committee.
