• The parking P light on the central control display will illuminate for about 20 seconds after power is turned off;

• The rear brake emits a motor operating sound for about 2 seconds.

Warning

If you need to tow, be sure to click [Settings] - [Safety and Maintenance] - [Tow Mode] on the central control display to release Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) (for details, see the "Maintenance and Self - Service - Emergency - Tow - Tow Mode" section). • The ESP system is on and has no faults;

• Depress the brake pedal deeply.

At this time, there will be the sound of the ESP motor working. If the vehicle shows signs of slipping for the second time, AUTO HOLD will automatically switch to Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), which is normal. When the vehicle starts, if AUTO HOLD is activated, you need to step on the accelerator pedal or release the brake pedal and then step on it again to release the automatic hold.
