Vehicle Driving

IACC troubleshooting

When the ACC system detects that the radar is blocked, the radar is faulty, or a related system fails, the cruise status indicator on the central control display will turn orange and there will be a corresponding prompt:

• The radar is blocked;

- If the central control display prompts "Forward millimeter - wave radar is blocked", please clean the radar surface. - If the fault still cannot be eliminated automatically for a long time after cleaning, please go to a Changan Automobile authorized dealer for handling. • Limited function. If the following faults occur and the fault reminder cannot be automatically eliminated for a long time, and the fault still exists after restarting the vehicle, please go to a Changan Automobile authorized dealer for inspection and repair:

-

The function is temporarily unavailable;

-

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) malfunction;

- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) communication abnormality.

In the following situations, please go to a Changan Automobile authorized dealer to calibrate the radar professionally:

• Removal or reinstallation of radar or front bumper;

• External forces may cause the radar to become unstable or in an abnormal position;

• The vehicle has been involved in a collision;

• ACC performance is degraded (if the distance to the target is abnormally shortened or the vehicle in the lane next to the vehicle is often misidentified); • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) malfunctions (such as frequent false alarms or braking, etc.).

CAUTION

Improper maintenance of the front end of the vehicle may cause change in the position of the radar, thereby affecting the function of ACC. Therefore, maintenance work must be carried out by a Changan Automobile authorized dealer.

Integrated Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC)

Overview of the system

IACC integrates the radar used by the adaptive cruise control system and the camera used by the lane departure warning system to detect vehicles and lane lines in front. It controls the vehicle speed to keep the vehicle at the set cruising speed or maintain a pre - set following time and distance interval with the vehicle in front. It also controls the steering to keep the vehicle within the lane. Please read and familiarize yourself with the entire contents of this chapter before using IACC. At any time, the driver has priority control of the vehicle.
