Vehicle Driving

Warning

The RCTB system operates in the background and will not be noticed by the driver. If a target behind or crossing the road behind is detected by the system, it will not trigger braking assistance until the danger level is reached.

The reverse cross traffic braking function must be switched off in the following situations:

• When the vehicle is being towed;

• When the installation location is changed (e.g., after a rear - end collision).

Reverse Cross Traffic Emergency Braking (RCTEB)

The RCTEB function is an advanced function derived from the Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) function in the Rear Collision Warning (RCW) system. It shares lateral millimetre - wave radar with the Backward Warning Aid System to detect vehicles behind. Its triggering range and limitations are the same as the RCTA function. Under the premise of meeting the Rear Crossing Traffic Alert function, when the system determines that the vehicle has an inevitable risk of collision with the rear crossing vehicle according to the current reversing situation, the RCTEB function will actively work. This function works when the vehicle speed is within the range of 4km/h - 15km/h. The detection principle limitations of backward warning aid system will also affect the performance of the reverse lateral braking system.

Warning

The reverse cross traffic braking system is mainly used for parking lot reverse scenarios. Due to the complex driving environment of real - time traffic, roads, weather, etc., the system cannot ensure correct detection under all conditions. In (but not limited to) the following situations, the reverse cross traffic braking system may not be triggered or its performance may be compromised. Please do not rely too much on the reverse cross traffic braking system, and do
