IACC troubleshooting

In the following cases, the central control display will display "Rear assist system abnormality" and the warning indicator on the exterior rearview mirror will remain on:

• The radar sensor is faulty.

• Failure of other associated controllers.

• The position of the radar sensor is damaged by external forces such as impact, and the installation position is beyond the normal working range of the radar. In the following situations, the central control display screen displays "Rear assist radar blocked" and the warning indicator on the exterior rearview mirror will remain on: • The radar sensor is covered by mud, ice and snow, modified/added accessories, stickers, etc. If the radar is blocked, please remove the added parts or stickers at the radar sensor. If you drive on muddy roads for a long time, you can try to wash the inner and outer surfaces of rear bumper at the radar sensor. Please keep the sensor and the surrounding area clean at all times. If the system fault message persists, please go to a Changan Automobile authorized dealer for maintenance.

CAUTION

Each time the vehicle is powered on, the outside rearview mirror warning indicator will light up. If it goes out after 3s, it means that the system is normal.

Emergency Lane Keeping (ELKS)

Overview of the system

The Emergency Lane Keeping System (ELKS) is used to prevent or reduce collision damage by providing reverse steering force when the vehicle is in danger of colliding with the road boundary guardrail or when the vehicle deviates from the lane and there is a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle or a rearward vehicle under medium and high speed conditions. It detects the lane lines and road edges and oncoming vehicles in front of the vehicle through the intelligent front - view camera installed behind the front windshield, and detects vehicles from behind through the millimeter - wave radars installed on the left and right sides inside the rear bumper. The Emergency Lane Keeping system includes emergency lane correction based on the road edge (ELKS - re), emergency correction based on oncoming vehicles (ELKS - O), and emergency correction based on rear - coming vehicles (ELKS - LCS).
