When carrying certain corrosive items (such as acid, alkali, salt, fertilizer, etc.), special containers should be used and the vehicle should be cleaned immediately after unloading.
Wash your vehicle immediately after driving over salted roads in winter.
Do not park your vehicle in a damp, poorly ventilated area, and do not wash your vehicle in a garage.
Lighting
Lighting Fogging/Frosting
When the external headlights are working, they will adjust the internal pressure through the air vents. When humid air enters the interior of the headlights and the temperature of the headlight lenses is relatively low, fog may be generated (frost may occur in extremely cold conditions). It is normal for headlights to fog up and it has no negative impact on the normal operation and lighting of the headlights. When normal fog is generated, a layer of fog beads will form on the inner surface of the headlight lens. This layer of fog beads will eventually dissipate, but there is no guarantee that it will not be generated again during subsequent use. It may take 2 to 3 days or even longer for the fog to completely dissipate, depending on factors such as ambient temperature, humidity and the length of time the lights are used.
Determination of Lamp Fogging/Frosting
Start the vehicle, turn on high beam, and keep the lights on for 30 to 40 minutes (in extremely cold areas, drive the vehicle indoors), and then perform the following visual inspection:
1. There is no water accumulation inside the lamp;
2. No fog is visible at 1 meter from the lamp (mask area illuminated by high beams).
If the above conditions are met, the headlights are normal.
Headlight brightness
National laws and regulations have clear provisions on the brightness of motor vehicle headlights. The headlights of all vehicles cannot be too bright or too dim, otherwise it is easy to cause safety accidents. Since our vehicles are designed to drive on the right, in order to avoid the headlights affecting the vision and safety of oncoming vehicles, according to the low beam illumination standard, the left light is less bright and the right light is more bright. If you feel that your headlights are not bright enough or otherwise uncomfortable, you can try to adjust them appropriately in the lighting settings interface on the central control screen. If there is no improvement, it is recommended to go to a Changan Automobile authorized dealer for consultation and inspection. Any mechanical dimming is prohibited.
Wiper Blade
Check Wiper Blade
Use your fingertips to slide along the edge of wiper blades. When the edge of the rubber strip is obviously damaged and cannot fully clean the windshield, wiper blades should be replaced immediately.
