Seat Overview
The seat front and rear position and backrest angle status set for this model are:
• The seat is designed for adjustable front - to - back positioning, and the last position of the seat is slid forward by 40 millimeters. • Backrest angle status: It refers to the angle measured between the dummy torso line and the vertical line after the dummy is placed on the seat. The backrest angle of this model is designed to be 25°.
Correct Sitting Posture
Uttermost protection can be got in case of vehicle collision only when the seat, headrest, seat belt and airbag are correctly used. When the vehicle is running, we suggest you to: • Adjust seat position correctly to ensure that the seat and backrest are locked at proper positions. Don’t tilt the backrest excessively. • The driver shall keep an enough safe distance from the steering wheel and incline the steering wheel downward as far as possible to keep the airbag directly facing the driver's chest. • Adjust to a correct sitting posture to sit up right as much as possible with back leaning against the backrest. • Wear seat belt correctly (see the “Smart Ride – Safe Ride – Seat Belt ” section for details).
DANGER
Don’t drive the vehicle before passengers sit properly. Passengers are not allowed to sit on folded seatbacks, in trunk, or on cargo. Passengers are not allowed to stand or move among seats while the vehicle is running for fear of injury or death caused by emergency braking or vehicle collision.
Don’t put anything unevenly weighed or sharp (like needles or nails) on the seat.
For seat equipped with a side airbag, don’t refit or replace it or its cover; otherwise the normal
