When the rear seat safety belt is not fastened while the vehicle is running, the corresponding indicator will also illuminate and a warning tone will sound at the same time. After the occupants in the rear seats have fastened their seat belts, the indicator goes out and the warning tone disappears. While the vehicle is driving, if a seat belt becomes unfastened, the corresponding seat belt indicator will illuminate and a warning tone will sound. The rear safety belt not fastened function can be set to off by clicking [Settings] - [Safety and Maintenance] - [Rear Safety Belt Not Fastened Alarm] interface. But when there are people in the rear seats, it is recommended that the rear safety belt not fastened function always be on.
CAUTION
If the safety belt reminders do not conform to the above logic, it means that they are faulty. Please contact a Changan Automobile authorized dealer.
Seat Belt Wearing
Three - point waist seat belt shall be worn as low as possible to the crotch, not to the waist; the shoulder belt shall go across the body and in front of the occupant’s chest, not under the arm.
Wearing
1. Pull the Seat belt tongue and pull out seat belt smoothly.
2. Pass the shoulder straps over your shoulders and the waist belt over your hips.
3. Plug the latch into the buckle of the seat belt until there is a “click”, indicating that the seat belt is latched properly.
