SDA continued ken of as . . . the remnant church. It is in a spirit of deep humility that we apply this Scripture to the Ad vent movement . . . that Revelation 12:17 points to us as a people of prophecy” (page 191). While they boldly affirm that they are the “ remnant” church, yet they admit that there are believers in other churches, but unless they are SDAs, they are not of the rem nant. Then,- what are these other church members? 6) “ SDAs repudiate in toto any idea . . . that Satan is in any sense our sin bearer” (page 400). But then two entire chapters are devoted to proving that Satan did bear our sins. Much is made of the word “ Azazel” to prove that the scape goat of Leviticus 16 was in deed Satan. While acknowledging that the first goat in Leviticus 16 was a type of the Lord Jesus, con cerning the second goat I read (page 390): “ The other goat we believe stood for Satan who is eventually to have rolled back upon his own head not only his own sins, but the responsi bility for all the sins he has caused others to commit” (page 399). Now this indeed is subtle lan guage, but one thing is clear. SDAs believe that the scape goat (Azazel) of Leviticus 16 is none other than Satan. To show the repulsive blas phemy of such a statement, we quote here from Leviticus 16:21, 22: “ And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat [Satan, according to the SDAs] and confess over him [Satan, according
