QQQ Girls will learn ways to manage stress and anxiety while spending time with friends and focusing on relaxation, body strength, and concentration. Through the power of yoga, Girls will build their overall body awareness and wellness – connecting their mind, body, and breathing. Length : 60-minutes.
Zen Friends Yoga teaches yoga poses and yoga benefits through storytelling, songs, and fun. Yoga sessions are taught using visuals and props and participants leave with a handout of the yoga poses and a scented eye pillow. For more information visit www.ewskc.org. Yoga for Teens
Zen Friends is an opportunity to learn the practices of yoga in a fun, active and safe setting. Girls will build their confidence, balance, and flexibility while focusing on relaxation, body strength, and concentration. Length : 45-60 minutes.
Zen Friends Yoga
Connect Daisy Petal stories with yoga poses related to confidence, balance, and focus. Girls will sing songs, play games, and learn the basics of yoga, while relaxing and having fun! Length : 45-minutes. Following the 5 steps of the My Best Self badge, Girls will learn how to relax through controlled breathing and different yoga poses to help their bodies be healthier and discover positive ways to manage emotions. Length : 60-75 minutes. Get healthy and relax while completing step to earn the Staying Fit badge! Girls will practice different controlled breathing techniques, calming yoga poses, and participate in a guided meditation session, and will leave with resources to help them and their families stay active and healthy. Length : 80-minutes.
