Take a spin around the pond! Girls will learn basic boat control, paddling, and waterfront safety information, including what to do in an emergency. Once Girls are comfortable on the water, they’ll play a fun game using all their new canoeing skills and teamwork skill to win. Length: 2 hours. Location: Camp Tongawood. Girls will learn the basics of knives throwing from safety measures to throwing techniques and proper stance. They’ll then put what they learned to use and take aim at our knives throwing targets. Length: 2 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner or Camp Tongawood. Girls will learn the rules of the range and how to shoot a slingshot, while discovering the science behind the different sounds the targets make when you hit them. Girls will then test their skills with a game of paintball connect four! ​ Length: 1.5 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner or Camp Tongawood. Zip through the trees! Girls will choose their challenge while learning about ziplining safety measures and techniques from the safety equipment and rope climbing to platform standing and zipping. This adrenaline pack adventure is guaranteed to satisfy! ​ Length: 3 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner or Camp Tongawood. Girls will learn communication techniques, improve interpersonal skills, and problem- solving tactics to work together as a team to complete various challenges. Team building is a great activity for new and established troops! Teambuilding activities do not include use of the low ropes course at CPS. Length: 2 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner or Camp Tongawood.

Girls will improve collaboration, cooperation, and communication through games and activities on our Low Ropes Course. Length: 3 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner. Get prepared for your progression to the 40-foot climbing tower! This introductory program uses our 10’ wall to teach Girls climbing holds, proper climbing technique, and information on the climbing equipment. Length: 1 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner or Camp Tongawood. Girls will learn the basics of climbing including the safety equipment required. Then they’ll test their skills on our 40-foot climbing wall! Length: 3 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner. Girls will learn the basics of rappelling from the equipment and safety measures to basic rappelling techniques. They’ll then put their skills to the test by rappelling down the 40- foot tower. Length: 3 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner. teamwork, and problem-solving skills they’ll work together to support the tower and add additional crates. Length: 3 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner. This introductory program uses our 10’ wall to teach Girls proper climbing technique, holds, and equipment, preparing them for our 40’ climbing tower. Through fun games girls will strengthen their bond and build teamwork skills. Length: 2 hours. Location: Camp Prairie Schooner or Camp Tongawood.
