Use the Zoo's classroom space to work on your badges/journeys or troop meeting, then explore the zoo at night with a guided tour! Register at kansascityzoo.org/scouts Length : 2 hours. The workshops are comprised of a guided tour of the zoo and activities led by the zoo.Troops can schedule their own STEM Career Explorer or Think Like a Citizen Scientist Badge Workshops. $25 per Girl ; each Girl is allowed 1 adult for free; siblings cannot be accommodated. Length : 2.5 hours.

Discover what it takes to care for wild animals and explore the role you play in our natural world. Zoomobiles offer a variety of program options to meet your needs. Girls will participate in hands- on workshops, special event booths, and expert speakers to create a natural fit for your group's needs. Troops can schedule their STEM Career Explorer or Think Like a Citizen Scientist Badge Workshops. This opportunity will also include a guided zoo tour and zoo-led activities! Click here to register your troop’s activity. Did you ever wonder what the animals do when the zoo closes? Spend the night at the Kansas City Zoo and discover what happens when the sun goes down. Stay indoors at the Helzberg Penguin Plaza or Polar Bear Passage, or camp under the stars in Australia or Africa. Hike through the zoo and enjoy evening activities - perfect for families and troops!
