ADELAIDE AIRPORT MAJOR PROJECT
Stoddart Infrastructure were commissioned by Adelaide Airport to deliver stage one of a project celebrating the 2019 centenary of the first flight from England to Australia in 1919. Stoddart designed, fabricated, and installed two custom Stoddart Infrastructure Decco walkways to facilitate patron transfer between the long term car park and terminal building via the Vimy Vickers Memorial – the focus of the celebrations. Characterised by its large-span curved cantilever roof, modularity, and simple bolt-together assembly, Stoddart customised the Decco with aesthetic framing details, full-length guttering, and LED lighting. Custom PerfArt perforated panels with travel-themed motifs also provide fantastic visual interest to the canopies.
