PI PROJECTS COMPLETED
The OGHS Medical Explorers Program is a free program designed to educate junior and senior high school students about careers in the medical field. Students will learn about CPR, suturing, phlebotomy, clinical scenarios, and more. The deadline to sign up is Sept. 15th. NOMINATE A FELLOW PHYSICIAN FOR EXCELLENCE
The following PI Projects were recently completed:
The ICU Critical Care Orientation for New Grads project resulted in 100% of new grads participating in the redesigned orientation program and survey results were overwhelmingly positive. The Women's Services Quantitative Blood Loss for C- Sections project resulted in 88% compliance in May and June. The 4N project on Follow-up Appointments for Discharged Patients resulted in exceeding the goal of > 90% qualifying post- discharge appointments being made prior to discharge for April 2023.
The OGHS Medical Staff Circle of Excellence Award was created to acknowledge a physician who understands the challenges of practicing medicine and has the qualities and skills necessary to be an exceptional physician leader.
