In 2010 the Host Province Committee was comprised 7 members of the provincial parliament. There was one Host State Coordinator who was assisted by several nonpartisan staff members. In 2009 the Host State Committee was comprised of 14 legislators including 6 ex-officio members of leadership. The committee also included 6 legislative staff, two private sector consultants and three members of the private sector. In 2008 the Host State Committee was comprised of 12 legislators (including the MLC chair and a “host state committee co-chair”) and 12 private sector members. There was also a group of 18 conference coordinators (most of these people were Legislative Research Council staff), of which a few lead staff did the majority of the planning.
