Heidelberg The Supervisory Board of Heidelberg has named Lud- win Monz as the new CEO to succeed Rainer Hunds- dörfer. Monz will take over from Hundsdörfer at the start of the new financial year on April 1, 2022. Monz is chairman of the Management Board of MDAX-listed Carl Zeiss Meditec AG until the end of December 31, 2021. Monz has been a member of the Management Board of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG since 2007 and has been chairman of the Management Board since 2010. He was also appointed to the Group Management Board of Carl Zeiss AG with effect from January 1, 2014. In addition, it is planned to ex- tend the Management Board contract with CFO MarcusWassenberg until 2027, as scheduled. The Royal Group Acquires GenCorr Packaging The Royal Group (TRG) has acquired GenCorr Pack- aging, located in Alsip, Illinois. Ludwin Monz GenCorr Packaging was established by Tom Beems- terboer in April of 2017 with Vince Baratta joining as a partner in July of 2017. Both will continue in their current roles under the new ownership “GenCorr’s business aligns perfectly with ours,” said Bob McIlvaine, President and CEO of TRG.“This acqui- sition expands our customer base and strengthens our manufacturing capabilities for our strategically import- ant point of purchase business segment.” The Royal Group operates more than 30 locations nationwide, serving customers in a variety of areas including industrial, agricultural, automotive, contract and graphic packaging, and point of purchase displays and fulfillment.
