Cancer Screening Programmes Although you may have had (and continue to have) a number of scans and tests for your neuroendocrine cancer - it is important to accept invitations to cancer screening - UNLESS specifically advised not to by your SPECIALIST Neuroendocrine Cancer Team. • A diagnosis of neuroendocrine cancer does not reduce your risk of other cancers. • The tests and scans you may be having for your neuroendocrine cancer may not be the right tests and/or scans to identify the cancers that the screening programmes are specifically designed for.
