If you are at a specialist centre / under the care of a specialist neuroendocrine cancer team, the team will review all test and scan results, alongside your medical history and personal preferences for care (if known) and come to an expert informed plan of care. This outcome will be discussed with you at an appointment with a member of the specialist MDT. If you are not at a specialist centre or under the care of a specialist neuroendocrine cancer MDT - your local team may link in with a specialist MDT meeting to discuss whether they have all of the information they need to confirm the diagnosis and plan or gain a recommendation for a plan of care.
Neuroendocrine Cancer UK has a discretionary one- off Compassionate Welfare Grant that may help with travel costs for specialist scans or treatments. Grant applications must be completed by a Healthcare professional or Cancer Support Worker.
