There are a number of treatments available for neuroendocrine cancer – but at all times the aims and risk/benefit of any treatment, alongside your preferences for care - should be considered to ensure your physical and psychological well- being. It is important to note that not all treatments are suitable for all types of neuroendocrine cancer. The timing of treatment - and the order in which you may be offered treatments, if more than one is suitable for you - may also vary from person to person : even when the type, stage and grade of neuroendocrine cancer (NET or NEC) may be similar.
