But it can help to try to identify how / what you are feeling. Just as with physical health, where identifying the symptom and cause can help treatment – in emotional health, identifying the feeling and why you feel that way can help in dealing with it. All humans experience a range of emotions. Some emotions may be comfortable to us, and others may be uncomfortable. How we deal with these may be based on how much certain feelings affect us: how pleasant / unpleasant they feel to us, how bearable / unbearable they seem, and how much we want to hang on to or get away from certain feelings, rather than necessarily the intensity of them.
