A QUICK GUIDE This Virtual Patient Handbook is designed for those living with neuroendocrine cancer and their loved ones. As a way of presenting large amounts of information in an engaging and interactive way, we have designed the Handbook to include a mixture of text and audio-visual content in the hopes that it may be more accessible to a range of learning styles within our community. Each section of the Handbook focuses on a unique part of living with neuroendocrine cancer, from understanding what it is, to symptoms, tests and treatments, specialist care and guidance for living with it. The Handbook is designed to be experienced in tandem with the Neuroendocrine Cancer UK website so you will find links throughout this book which direct you to additional resources online. Within this Handbook you will also encounter a range of digital resources.
