Anchor pays the Real Living Wage. C43 Median gender pay gap

The median gender pay gap at Anchor is 6.8%. C44 CEO:median-worker pay ratio The headcount at 31 March 2023 was 9,530, with 6,867 full-time equivalent staff. The total annual CEO remuneration divided by the annual median working remuneration is as follows: Percentile 2021/22 2022/23 2023/24 25th percentile 26:1 25:1 20:1 Median percentile 29:1 23:1 19:1 75th percentile 23:1 21:1 17:1 The Chief Executive: median-worker pay ratio was 19:1. This is calculated using the DESNEZ (Department for Energy Security and Net Zero) methodology option A. Anchor paid all colleagues (excluding senior leaders) a £500 cost-of-living bonus at the end of 2022 and saw a change of CEO part way through the year. The combination has resulted in a noticeable reduction in ratio compared to 2021-22. C45 Colleague wellbeing and support Anchor employs over 10,000 colleagues (with a year-end headcount of 9,530), most of whom work in our care homes. We are proud to have become a Real Living Wage Employer in 2022 and to offer a wide range of wellbeing support through our Being Well website.
