Financial due diligence on behalf of the lead investors at the occasion of a financing round of EyeD Pharma
The BDO Transaction Services team in Belgium performed the financial due diligence on the med-tech company EyeD Pharma in the context of its EUR45 million financing round. EyeD Pharma is a leader in the development and production of micro-implants ensuring a controlled release of drugs in ophthalmology. We had the opportunity to collaborate with the BDO Corporate Finance team at the occasion of our last (EUR45 million) financing round as BDOwas mandated by our lead investors for conducting the financial aspects of the due diligence of our project. While performed under a sharp time constraint, the BDO team’s work was done in a very rigorous and transparent mode. They showed a unique ability to quickly and precisely deep dive in our financial statements, cost accounting reports and business plans. Their contribution, rigorousness and constructive approach definitely helped to enhance the confidence between the parties in the preparation of the closing process.
The BDO Financial Due Diligence team in Belgium conducted the financial vendor due diligence on Diagenode. Diagenode is a dedicated supplier for sample preparation products for next generation sequencing, proteomics, and epigenetics research. The US based Hologic group acquired Diagenode.
