Acquisition of Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions byVenterra Group Plc
The BDO Transaction Services team in Ireland provided buy-side due diligence assistance to newly established offshore renewable energy services provider, Venterra Group Plc, in support of their first acquisition during 2021, Irish based Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions Ltd (GDG). GDG is a specialist engineering consultancy business with offices in Ireland and the UK. GDG’s work has included a vast range of infrastructure projects, both offshore and onshore and has developed a particular focus in the global offshore renewables sector. Venterra Group Plc provides a range of services for the offshore renewable energy sector, and the group has significant growth plans to create a global industry-leading group in the offshore renewables industry.
The BDO Transaction Services team in Italy advised the Italy based telecommunication player Tiscali SpA on the financial due diligence activities to finalize the merger of Tiscali SpA with Linkem Retail Srl.

After this transaction, Tiscali will be acting as
the 5th TLC operator in the Italian market (and 1st in the ultra broadband access with FWA+FTTH technology with a 19.4% market share).
