The BDO Corporate Finance Valuation Advisory team acted as the advisor to E.On in preparing the Purchase Price Allocation related to the acquisition of Východoslovenská energetika Holding a.s. ('VSE'), a leading supplier of electricity and gas in Slovakia, in accordance with IFRS 3. The engagement was run by a team of specialists from BDO in Germany and in Slovakia.
E.On acquired the majority shareholding in Východoslovenská energetika Holding a.s.
them (including one international one).
The purpose of the impairment testing was to determine the potential impairment of fixed assets owned by the Company for IFRS purposes.
