Wash with soap and water after handling. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. DIRECTIONS FOR USE : Remove end caps. Shocking recommended before installation. Never shock through functional/depleted cartridge. Post installation, use tem - porary section of tubing: shock lines, remove temporary tubing, reinstall functional cartridge. Block/disconnect unused or extra waterlines. Disconnection of water heat - ers recommended. Set water pressure between 40-50 psi. Leave cartridge in place when unit unused. For extended period of non-use protocol, contact Crosstex. Maintain iodine levels with 2-minute morning flush of every line on days patients are seen. Bottle use: Recommend to empty water nightly. Dry upside down or return to manifold. Fol - low bottle manufacturer cleaning protocol. Best practice: wipe down cartridge with clean, dry paper towel, inspect intake end for obstruction. If bottle has protective enclo - sure, omit step. Fill with potable water each morning. If water usage tracked, start new sheet. Iodine Test strips can help to verify performance near end of cartridge life. Maintain continuous iodine presence by installing new cartridge after removing depleted cartridge. Follow wa - terline testing guidance.

CAUTION : Accidental exposure: If exposure to res - in pellets, use caution. Oral cavity exposure, remove resin with evacuation tip. Oral exposure has not been shown to pose significant health risk. FIRST AID : IF IN EYES : Hold eye open, rinse with water, 15 -20 min - utes. Remove contact lenses after 5 minutes, continue rinsing. Call doctor for treatment advice. ON SKIN/ CLOTHING : Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water, 15 - 20 minutes. IF SWALLOWED : Call doctor. Sip water if able. Do not induce vomiting unless advised by doctor.
