H OOKING back upon the year so nearly completed, recalling th e blessings of our gracious Lord received through Biola Hall, there is a continual note of praise rising from our h ea rt in our closing testimony for 1922. has w rought in th is one channel through which hundreds of burdened men, bear ing th e awful weight of sorrow, sin add suffering, have passed, going out w ith a song on th e ir lips and in th e ir hearts. We have witnessed many conversions, some of them very remarkable. Re cently a man was attracted to Biola Hall, a keen, intelligent young fellow who listened to a converted bootlegger telling the story of his conversion. He stood to the end although several times he attem pted to leave th e crowd. F i nally, as the converted bootlegger fin ished, th is man started down the street “O give th ank s unto th e Lord for He is good, for His mercy endureth forever. Let th e redeemed of the Lord say . so, whom H e h ath redeemed from th e hand of the enemy.” Nothing bu t “ th a t day” so rapidly nearing will make m anifest all th a t He
