Consigned by Finger Lakes Cattle Co.. Lot 15 is an outcross breeding tool which posts a set of EPD’s designed for excellence and versatility. His sire, 5L Ultra Kool 1077-86H, was used extensively by the grass-based Mushrush Ranch, and we feel fortunate that we were allowed to integrate these outcross genetics into our herd, especially since currently there is no semen available. Ultra Kool has perfect foot structure and produces progeny that are easy fleshing and maternal built. His dam is a powerful Deep End daughter who is stunning in phenotype and dominates in carcass merit, as she is in the top 1% of the entire breed for marbling and top 1% Grid - master Index! It is easy to appreciate Lot 15 overall look; long sided and deep middled in a moderate frame. Consigned by Trimm Farm. Looking for paternal half brothers to use in your herd? Lot 17 is the first of four paternal half-brothers sired by Bryan Knightman K09. This attractive, structurally correct bull has some the of most popular Red Angus genetics in his pedigree including Merlin, Independence, Profitbuilder and Big Sky. His dam, MHF Big Game, has produced two calves in the Trimm Farm herd and was purchased from Mariposa Heights Farm in the 2023 Right on Red Sale. Her calving interval is 349 days with an MPPA of 100. Lot 17 will certainly let you sleep at night and his daughters will likely stay in the herd. He, like his dam, measured over 5% of intramuscular fat via ultrasound, which bodes well for carcass quality.
