FLRA F509 Kashong K10 was developed in the 2022-23 New York Red Angus Development Program. From the beginning, Finger Lakes Cattle Company knew he was joining the bull battery at FLCC. He is an ET son of Mushrush Trident and Mushrush Julie LL C057. With over 25 calves on the ground, he continues to be in the top 10% of the Red Angus breed for calving ease, heifer pregnancy and stayability and above breed average for marbling and ProS. At Finger Lakes Cattle Company, they believe females who are packaged with a nice blend of herd-building and grid/carcass characteristics make the best cows for the long-haul. This is a perfect description of Lot 67. A female like this can be used as a cornerstone of a strong maternal family, or use her to start pushing out high growth, superior carcass cattle. Whatever your goals, there’s enough proven stayability in her genes to help keep her productive for many years to come. Lot 67 was the third calf of her 2021 born dam, who has maintained a calving interval of 354 days. Lots 68 and 69 are paternal half-sisters to Lot 67. Lot 67 - FLRA K10 Nina RN28

The ribeye area per 100 lbs. for Lot 68 is an eye-popping 1.44 in 2 /cwt – which makes you realize that 700 lb. heifers scanning almost 11 inch ribeyes can become the foundation for an effi - cient, meat producing model! Lot 68 was sired by FLRA F509 Kashong K10 and 2021 born dam that traces back to probably the most productive dam raised at FLRA. Her sire’s grass-based heritage travels into the efficient depths of the Mushrush herd. If you are a producer who has a strong focus on grass-based production, take a good, long look at how this attractive heifer could be used to make an impact. Lots 67 and 69 are paternal half-sisters to Lot 68. Additionally, if you are interested in cow families, Lot 68’s dam sells as Lot 85. Lot 68 - FLRA K10 Nydia RN24
