Candidate Profile Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours Essential

• Implementing management systems to ensure compliance with statutory legislation relating to facilities management, fleet management etc. (Application/Interview). • Using data and networking to benchmark FM performance (Application/Interview). • Using CAFM systems to manage, maintain and optimise resources and budgets. • Procurement, mobilisation, and management of multiple service contracts for facilities management (Application/Interview). • Developing and managing revenue (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets relating to customer services and facilities management (Application/ Interview). • Engaging and collaborating with technical consultants, contractors, and suppliers (Application/Interview).

• Able to engage, motivate and influence both internal staff and external consultants, contractors, and suppliers (Application/ Interview). • Able to create and present timely and accurate management information and technical reports (Application/Interview). • Able to prepare tender documents including specifications and SLAs for facilities management services (Application/ Interview). • Familiar with, and able to use, the extensive Microsoft Office suite (Application/ Interview).

• Possession of a full Driving Licence with no endorsements or disqualifications that will prevent travelling on University business (Application/Interview). Desirable) • PRINCE2 Foundation or APM PFQ (Application).

• First degree (or Ofqual equivalent qualification) or demonstrable senior management experience in facilities management (Application). • Attained or working toward a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Application). • Member of IWFM or other relevant professional body (Application). • Senior facilities management leadership role within a large organisation (Application/Interview). • Developing and implementing multi- year facilities management strategies and operational plans (Application/ Interview). • Managing multi-disciplinary facilities management services and staff across geographically dispersed workplaces. • Developing service level specifications, agreements, and performance KPI’s for FM services (Application/Interview).
