MADD CALIFORNIA 23152 PIN PROGRAM

The 23152 pin is awarded to sworn peace officers for service over a one year period. The pin is red to symbolize MADD’s mission, represent the victims of impaired driving crashes and more specifically for law enforcement, to memorialize and honor those heroes injured and killed in impaired driving collisions.

“ DEUCE AWARD ” Recipients made between 10 and 49 DUI arrests in the previous year. “ MADD AWARD ” Recipients made between 50 and 99 DUI arrests in the previous year. “ CENTURY AWARD ” Recipients made between 100 and 199 DUI arrests in the previous year. We cannot overemphasize the importance of this accomplishment. For officers, whose official responsibilities include so much more than DUI enforcement, arresting dangerous drivers with such consistency is remarkable. These awards are listed in alphabetical order by Department.
