WELCOME Welcome to the 10th Annual Olmsted Plein Air Invitational ! We have a great show planned for our anniversary and hope you will plan to join us throughout the week. Our Exhibition Gallery, located at 764 Miami Circle NE, Suite 150 in Atlanta, is open daily. New, fresh and original works will arrive each day. What you see on Monday will change by Tuesday and each day the body of work on exhibition grows. And there is more! ~We have a stellar line-up of Artist Talks, Demonstrations, Gallery Tours, Panel Discussions – all free of charge. ~Join us for “A Day in Roswell” on Wednesday, April 17 as artists will paint at three sites during the day – our beautiful Chattahoochee River, Canton Street in historic downtown Roswell and Bulloch/Mimosa Halls. At the end of the day, an exhibition of paintings will be held at the Roswell Visual Arts Center. ~Don’t miss our evening events that include the Artist Welcome Reception (4/16), the BIG Petite Reveal (4/18) and, of course, the highlight of the week, the Artist Awards and Collectors’ Soiree (4/20). ~Sunday morning (4/21) is our annual fun PaintQuick™ open to all aspiring artists. The public is welcome to spectate, interact with the artists, observe the creative process and enjoy the beauty and civility of artists at work. ~Sunday afternoon (4/21) our panel of experts, judges of the invitational, will present a discussion based on their selections of award-winning paintings. ~ There is so much more! Artists will paint at the Atlanta History Center, the Atlanta Botanical Garden and many locations around the city. So, we celebrate ten years, and our family keeps growing. With more than 150 alumni Artists and Judges, many Volunteers, Housing Hosts, Friends, Sponsors, Collectors and Students we continue to grow and look forward to the next ten years. Join us for our Anniversary show! Purchase a painting or two to help us celebrate and to commemorate the occasion. I guarantee paintings you take home will provide years of viewing pleasure.
