Recycling heroes
Selenis partnered with local schools in Brazil to develop creative activities designed to foster recycling awareness amongst the younger generations. “Recycling Heroes” puppet show, where puppets crafted from recycled materials were used to tell a story that explained to children the importance of recycling and how to recycle. The second part included a recycled costumes competition, culminating in a fun costume parade.
810 young children received environmental and recycling education through these fun and effective pedagogic methods that conveyed key messages about waste reduction and the significance of recycled materials.
