The relationship we’ve built over the years is one reason Virco recently came to us for a much-needed solution. “We started talking ahead about our sales ticking up,” recalls Paul Gall, Virco’s Vice President of Logistics. “We discussed the additional trailers we may need from a ship-and-hold standpoint. We wanted to know our options to get the product closer to our customers and make it easier to make the delivery. There were lots of different tools that Averitt was able to use to help step up and make it happen.” On top of our many service options, Virco is thankful for our professional image. “The appearance of Averitt’s drivers is very important,” says Virco logistics analyst Maggie McClellan. “They all have uniforms, and they’re clean and neat. That goes a long way, especially delivering to schools where there are children involved.
